Although I'm a student at English language Department, I am seen as a translator :) To our society, knowing a foreign language means that you can make translation. However, in this course, I've learned that making good translations needs much knowledge and hard work. Thanks to this course, I learned many terms related to translation. As I mentioned before, I don't know the Jacobson typology and free and word for word translation before. After this course, I think that I have enough information about 'translation'. The articles we presented are very beneficial for us to learn about 'translation'. Also, the articles we translated such as 'Cıplaklı village' are very interesting. I enjoyed while translating them. Moreover, I liked the Wiki Project. I was really enjoyed doing it. In this class, we had a variety in terms of materials. We did enjoyable and interesting translations. Also, having guests in our class are very good. Gülden Hoca's class was very enjoyable. We learned many things from her. The professor from Cankaya University (I forgot his name :) ) made us learn new things about translation. All in all, I am really happy to take this course from you. In the other translation course, we also translated many articles like in this class. Having translation courses make me happy because they are enjoyable and beneficial to us although I don't like translation. Instead of 5 literature courses, I would like to have more translation courses. I think this way of teaching translation courses in our department is very beneficial since there is a variety of material. Furthermore, we had a chance to translate the article from our interest.
